Punjab manifesto battle

Ludhiana, Oct. 23: Arvind Kejriwal and Amarinder Singh traded barbs at each other on Twitter today after the Aam Aadmi Party released a trade and industry manifesto for next year's Punjab elections that the Congress leader said had exposed the Delhi chief minister's "intellectual bankruptcy". "Kejriwal better set his house in order before setting his eyes on Punjab.... Like older manifestos, once again Kejriwal states the obvious and exposes his intellectual bankruptcy in crafting actual solutions for Punjab," Singh said in a series of tweets. Later, Kejriwal alleged that BJP ally Akali Dal was funding Punjab Congress chief Singh's poll campaign. The Badals and Majithia (Punjab revenue minister Bikram Singh Majithia) are funding Captain's poll campaign. This is the grand alliance between the three parties to stop the Aam Aadmi Party," Kejriwal said.
