The Congress is likely to snatch Punjab from the Akali-Dal-BJP combine. As per the Axis India Today polls, a resurgent Congress is set to return to power by winning 60-65 of the 117 seats in the state. According to the survey, Congress is at 37 per cent with Captain Amarinder Singh looking strong. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is giving a tough fight with 34 per cent as the vote share projection. The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD)- BJP combine is facing possible debacle, they are down to 24 per cent.
