Share:LAHORE - The Punjab Assembly on Thursday passed three bills which were deferred on Wednesday on Speaker’s directions. They included the Lahore Ring Road Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2021; the Punjab Commission for Regularisation of Irregular Housing Schemes Bill, 2021; and the Punjab Commission for Regularization of Irregular Housing Schemes (Amendment), Bill 2021. Law Minister Raja Basharat presented the bills after removing the reservations of Speaker Ch Parvez Elahi who had objected to certain clauses on Wednesday. Responding to the point of order, the law minister termed the news of such construction a pack of lies. Makhdoom Usman Mahmood of the PPP said that the future of medical students had been ruined in the name of the NLE examination.
