The Central Pulse has clinched home court advantage for the final, provided it has a venue to play at. The competition leaders bounced back from their first loss of the ANZ Premiership season last week, to beat the Northern Stars 68-42 in Wellington. That locked up the competition's top spot, moving to 39 points and seven in front of the Southern Steel. The Pulse shooters were clinical as ever, while the Stars struggled for accuracy, notably Ellen Halpenny managing just 3/10. It also means the Steel will host the Northern Stars in the elimination final on Wednesday May 29.
