In swallowing the establishment line to persecute and vilify Tommy Robinson, Robin Grant belongs to the first category. The worst that can be said of Robinson, in the words of Lord Pearson, who admires him, is that he has been a “naughty boy” in the past. Once again, I have to correct one of Grant’s assertions. Robinson is not and never has been a member or candidate of the UKIP party. Now just think – if there had been eight Robinsons standing, each winning the same number of votes, two Robinsons would now be sitting in the EU parliament, and Grant’s nightmare would have come true.
