The committee behind Puck Fair has set up a fundraising appeal to cover increasing insurance prices and overall running costs of the three-day festival. The Puck Fair voluntary committee are appealing to the public and festival-goers to donate to aid the continuation of Ireland's oldest festival in Killorglin, Co Kerry. "We pride ourselves on providing the public with an event that is free of charge; free entry, free entertainment – you name it. But with running costs rising across the board, we had to come up with a plan B. Puck Fair takes place from August 10 to 12 in Killorglin.
