A team of DB South detained Abdus Sabur alias Raju alias Saad alias Samad alias Shujon from Tongi Railway Station area on Saturday night. DMP Deputy Commissioner Masudur Rahman confirmed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune on Sunday morning. He said: “Raju is also the mastermind of the attack on Avijit’s publisher Ahmed Rashid Tutul.”Details regarding the matter will be disclosed in a press briefing to be held at DMP Media Centre later in the day, the DC added. On August 23, DB police arrested a suspected leader of Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT) in connection to the murder. More to follow ….
