JOHOR BARU: The public has been urged to be the eyes and ears of the state government and report any abuse of power by state assemblymen and aides to Members of Parliament to the authorities. “As a member of the state assembly, I condemn the practice and the continuation of such a lack of integrity. The Johor DAP secretary added that the public should report to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) or the Mentri Besar’s office if they come across any misuse of allocation. “Active participation from the public can be translated through their action of reporting any suspicious activities to MACC or the Mentri Besar’s office. “Pakatan Harapan state governments will not compromise on such matters and are committed to taking action through the appropriate legal channels,” he added.
