Trustees will interview candidates and review applications in private sessions of the board, and vote on the replacement by secret ballot. The application and appointment process will closely follow the last time the board used an application process, in 2009. It's about two years until the next municipal election, during which school board trustees are also elected. The application process will include a list of eligibility criteria and an application.
