A walk-through display has been set up to give people a glimpse of what a developed Shelly Bay may look like. "I think most people have identified that Shelly Bay is not a strong issue for Wellingtonians - transport is. The Shelly Bay development was a way for Taranaki Whānui to "put a mark down" and have its identity be seen and heard. 2017: Consent for Shelly Bay development granted.
