Federal Public Safety Minister Ralph Goodale is being shown around flooded areas on the Ottawa-Rockland border as Ottawa River water levels appear to be settling. According to the Ottawa River Regulation Planning Board, which controls and measures water levels, its forecasts suggest the water has peaked in Arnprior, Ont., and the Pontiac, Que., west of the capital.
