The police have inspected restaurants and bars on Halloween eve and found five bars in Lan Kwai Fong were breaching the infection control regulations, with some still operating after the 2am curfew. Six catering operators were charged for violating the social distancing measures. The restaurants were discovered with segregation of tables less than 1.5 meters and having exceeding numbers of diners per table. Two pubs were also fined for maintaining dine-in operation during the period between 2am and 3am. He also added that the enforcement actions on Halloween Day will be more forceful than on its eve.
