By ADAM DRAPCHO, LACONIA DAILY SUNGILFORD — Pub Mania, the Patrick’s Pub barstool challenge that will be held for its tenth consecutive year in December, has been selected as New Hampshire’s nominee for an annual award given out by the National Restaurant Association. Pub Mania challenges teams of participants to occupy a barstool for a 24-hour period. Last year, Pub Mania raised more than $300,000, which helped the Children’s Auction set a fundraising record of $539,153. This makes the third time that Patrick’s Pub has been nominated for the Restaurant Neighbor award. That’s how Pub Mania was created, and it has since generated far more than his business could simply donate.
