Much-loved actor Pua Magasiva had been battling personal demons since his childhood and used alcohol as a coping mechanism for his anger, a coroner has revealed. Pua Magasiva was found dead at a Wellington hotel in the early hours of May 11, 2019. Pua Magasiva leaves the North Shore District Court where he was sentenced to community work for an assault on his wife.
