She has also written articles since 2005 for numerous magazines, such as Cleo, Cairo East, Diva, Insight, Daily News and Campus. Selim has also appeared as a guest speaker on various TV shows.As if that wasn't enough, she is also the founder and owner of Cairo's "Psychealth Counseling and Training Services", which opened in 2009. It utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy treatment to aid in the healing process, along with a training department and educational program supervised and designed by her. Recently, she published an autobiographical book in Arabic titled "My Journey", which recounts her career as a psychologist from the beginning and has been listed in Al Kotob Khan's "Top 10 Best Selling Books".
