Listed Pryce Corp. saw its consolidated net income hit P396.36 million in the first quarter of 2020, a 9.4-percent increase from P362.35 million in the same period a year ago. In a disclosure, Pryce said its consolidated revenues surged by 24.2 percent to P3.18 billion from last year’s P2.56 billion. LPG sales volume, which accounted for 95.3 percent of total revenues, grew by 15.1 percent to 58,745 metric tons (MT) from 51,047 MT year-on-year. During the period, LPG contract price jumped to $527 per MT from $465 in 2019. Pryce shares fell by 1 centavo or 24 percent to close at P4.20 apiece on Wednesday.
