Prime Minister Narendra Modi was seen holding friendly conversations with several guests who attended the 'At Home' Republic Day reception hosted by President Ramnath Kovind. Invitees were allowed to carry their cell phones too.The PM shook hands with Congress president Rahul Gandhi while he greeted his predecessor Manmohan Singh with a namaste. "The guest list was pruned so that both the PM and President got to meet the guests and have a meaningful engagement. NSA Ajit Doval and all senior bureaucrats of the PMO were in attendance at the event, and so were senior officials from the Election Commission. New CEC OP Rawat was seen talking to several delegates.
