With the spirit of giving in full swing for another Christmas season, some donors to the Proudfoot Corner of the Star Santa Claus Fund have been writing in about the ways in which the pandemic has changed their annual fundraising traditions. The Santa Fund, a 114-year tradition at the Star, provides gift boxes to some 45,000 needy children around the GTA. Some donors continue to remember Mort Greenberg, the beloved pied piper of the Proudfoot Corner.
