KUALA LUMPUR: Proton Holdings Bhd achieved a two per cent sales growth year-to -date (YTD), recording 66,190 units as at November 2017 compared to 65,069 units in the same period last year. Championing Proton’s sales are the Saga and Persona, contributing 70 per cent of its total sales YTD, having sold 28,368 units and 18,113 units, respectively. “We will continue to push ourselves harder in the coming months and we hope that customers will take advantage of the year-end deals for Proton cars,” he said in a statement. He added the growth is seen from the current quality improvements that are on-going internally. With the championship win, the Iriz gained slight traction in sales with a 2.8 per cent increase in November 2017 compared to October 2017, after a lacklustre performance year-to-date.
