Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua says the government "dealt conclusively" with Azimio's last three protests and will not happen anymore. "I am told they have postponed, there is no postponement, you cannot postpone something that is not there. The DP told the Azimio leader to take his rightful role of the opposition and hold the government accountable instead. But, in a statement on Monday, the coalition instead told its supporters to hold vigil for those who have been killed during the past protests. "We are calling Kenyans to come out and light candles and lay flowers in remembrance of and respect for the victims."
