Restraint is a form of strength we are required to possess as professionals charged with enabling legitimate protest,” he writes. “But, too, in a nation of laws, there are rules and there are acceptable ways to protest. Alongside the rights of the protesters, we have a duty to protect the rights of the public and ordinary citizens.
