The human chain was staged—to express the people’s anger at the delay in arresting the culprits—at the Feni central Shaheed Minar under the banner of Karmajibi Nari. During the human chain, Karmojibi Nari, a rights-based national organization, also demanded the expulsion of Principal Sirajuddaula for attempted rape. She was later shifted to Feni General Hospital before being transferred to the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH). The same day, Prime Minister Shiekh Hasina ordered for the feni madrasa student to be shifted to Singapore for better treatment.
