Protesters have torched Syokimau AP camp where lawyer Willie Kimani and two others were allegedly held before they were murdered. Some boda boda operators assisted police to put out the fire preventing it from spreading to the officers' residential building. Boda boda operators directed traffic on the highway during the demonstration. Boda boda operators said they had to destroy the camp as several of their colleagues have been "molested and killed by an officer at the post". Maina is a sergeant based at the Syokimau camp.
