Dozens of people have marched through the capital’s streets protesting the repression of the Falun Gong religious movement in China. People from the group walked from Cuba Mall, along Willis St and down Lambton Quay towards Parliament to protest China’s alleged “horrific” organ transplant industry. One person sat in a cage to shed light on the alleged “torture” of Falun Gong practitioners. Falun Gong practitioners often protest outside Chinese embassies around the world to try to attract support for their cause.
