The Proteas overcame early and late stumbles in their chase of a modest target to win the second T20I against India by four wickets. Having won the toss and put India in to bat, South Africa this time managed to peg the hosts back early on. Kagiso Rabada and Wayne Parnell put the squeeze on early but India were able to attack Tabraiz Shamsi. The Proteas beat India by four wickets. However a partnership of 64 between Bavuma and Heinrich Klaasen, set the Proteas back on the path to victory.
