Last month, the GFA in a communique, announced that it is recruiting to fill the position that has been vacant over two years. Prosper comes in at a time when the GFA under the leadership of Kurt Okraku has put in place measures to ‘ignite passion and create wealth’ for Ghana football. The University of Ghana product was the head of the Disciplinary Committee of the previous FA and oversaw some landmark cases. His association with football traces back to the late 90s when he served as Deputy Managing Editor of Hearts News, the official newspaper of Accra Hearts of Oak.
