Yet the title should be: "Land bridge will destroy nature." They have to pay for millions of containers to be downloaded from the container cargo ships at the port of Chumpon. That sense of anticlimax -- of effort expended without reward -- weighs heavily as we look toward a 2026 whose prospects appear, at best, uncertain.
