The prosecutors state that “there is no way” that Báez could “justify the surprising economic power that he obtained” in a short amount of time. It’s not just Cristina and Báez, though. The prosecutors have also asked Federal Judge Julián Ercolini to call a total of 34 people into questioning and for their assets to be seized. Other people included in the prosecutors’ request are:Martín Báez, Lázaro Báez’s eldest son, who faces the same charges that are leveled against his father. Judge Ercolini has to decide whether or not to accept the prosecutors’ request: only then can Cristina be called to the federal courthouse Comodoro Py for questioning.
