Property price inflation slowed to 6.6 per cent in the year to November, down from the 7.2 per cent recorded in October, new data from the Central Statistics Office shows. Property prices in Dublin rose by 5 per cent, while prices outside the capital were up by 7.9 per cent compared with November 2024. “While house prices still remain unaffordable for many, if the rate of house price growth continues to slow down, home ownership could become a reality for more people this year,” he said. In Dublin, house prices rose by 4.8 per cent while apartment saw stronger price growth – at 5.6 per cent. Outside the capital, house prices were up by 7.7 per cent and apartment prices rose by 10.5 per cent.
