IPOH: A property development company director has been charged in a Magistrate’s court here with three counts of cheating involving RM300,000. Chang Kok Kheong, 60, pleaded not guilty and claimed trial after the charges were read out by an interpreter before magistrate Nabihah Mohd Noor. Chang’s lawyer Charan Singh said his client was one of the directors of the company, and that he was facing another charge in a different court. The magistrate allowed bail at RM20,000 with one surety for all three charges and fixed Aug 6 for case mention. On April 4, this year Chang was also charged in a Sessions Court here with criminal breach of trust involving RM100,000.
