Property agents are selling residential plots on the agricultural land notified for Noida International Airport project at Jewar along the 165 km long Yamuna Expressway even though the authorities have not formalised the project yet. Now, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has sought Rs2,000 crore from the state government to acquire the initial 1,000 hectares of agricultural land for the project. The Yamuna Expressway industrial development authority (YEIDA) officials said such sales are illegal and they will take legal action against those cheating buyers. If you invest in land notified for the airport project, you will get Rs10 lakh return within a year for 1 bigha land. Many property agents are roaming in villages and around Greater Noida to make more people buy the land.
