ASHLAND — On Sunday, Jan. 14, the brakes on a truck hauling 2,800 gallons of propane caught fire. State Police and and other emergency personnel determined that the fire extended only to the truck's rear tires and it was quickly extinguished. The propane tank on the truck was not affected was not leaking. The rear brakes on a propane truck overheated, causing a fire that damaged the truck and its tires. The propane tank was not affected.
