Share TweetBy Roy MabasaA prominent Spanish magazine has paid tribute to the Philippines and its historic ties with Madrid in a special issue that chiefly reflected on the bilateral ties between the two countries, and the 500th anniversary of Spain’s arrival in the country. The magazine also included a tribute to former Senate President Edgardo Angara, one of the staunchest supporters of Philippine-Spanish relations, and numerous other articles detailing the historic and current bilateral relations between Manila and Madrid. At the recent launch of the issue in Madrid, Lhuillier expressed hope that the magazine will spark further interest and discussion about the Philippines. “It is my hope that through this magazine and the Embassy’s efforts, more and more Spanish companies will invest in the Philippines.
