The special project ‘Karuthal,’ under the Integrated Child Protection Scheme, aims at identifying children living in difficult circumstances. The project will be piloted in the Vilappilsala panchayat in Thiruvananthapuram district and Kodur in Malappuram district. As part of the project, details of such children will be collected so that schemes for their welfare can be drawn up. Minister for Social Justice K.K.
