The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose nearly 350 points Friday as investors embraced signs of progress in the U.S.-China trade negotiations. All three major U.S. stock indexes are on pace to end the week up more than 2%. The Dow industrials are on pace for their eighth consecutive week of gains, rising more than 13% through Thursday—their best eight-week gain since September 2009.
