MANILA, Philippines — The proclamation of winning senators and party-list groups in the 2019 midterm elections is still tentatively set for Tuesday, Director Frances Arabe of the Commission on Elections (Comelec) said on Monday. For the party-lists it’s tentative on Wednesday if we don’t finish by tomorrow.”0The Comelec, sitting as the National Board of Canvassers (NBOC), has suspended canvassing as of 8:55 p.m. on Monday. If the two COCs come in before noon, then proclamation would be on Tuesday night, Arabe said. The delay of the COCs from OAVs have been attributed to corrupted SD cards. Meanwhile, the delay in the COC from Isabela was caused by armed men who burned two vote counting machines there.
