SEREMBAN: Police are appealing for witnesses to help in their probe into a viral video clip showing a woman member of the police volunteer reserve (PVR) repeatedly slapping two men. A 97-second clip showing a woman slapping the two men, believed to be foreigners, has been widely shared on social media since Tuesday. The woman, who was not in PVR uniform, can be heard in the video telling the men in Punjabi that she had warned them not to create trouble. Netizens have, however, asked the police to probe the incident and act against the woman for her alleged high-handedness, among other things. Seremban OCPD ACP Thiew Hock Poh confirmed that the woman is a PVR officer based here.
