more-inThe City police have commenced an inquiry into death of a 37-year-old Chinese national, whose was brought dead to the Vizhinjam coast a few days ago. The Coast Guard deployed a ship with a medical team after receiving a medical evacuation request from the cargo vessel which was sailing 29 nautical miles off the Vizhinjam coast on January 25. Crew to be questionedMr. Dinil said that forensic, fingerprint and scientific experts conducted a inspected the vessel for two days to collect evidence. While there are claims that the man had fallen off the vessel, the police are yet to arrive at a conclusion. The cargo vessel, berthed at Vizhinjam, will be let off only after the completion of an exhaustive process since the case involved the death of a foreign national from a foreign ship.
