Police in Aflao in the Volta region who responded to reports of the incident identified the deceased as Chief Inspector Israel Theophilus Dotse. The deceased who had spent barely two days in the city had complained of severe heart pains. “On 06/04/19, between the hours of 15:00hrs and 16:00hrs they went to buy the engine and whilst they were with the seller, the deceased complained of severe heart pains. A sum of GHC350.00 and 7,500 CFA were also handed over to the Aflao District Commander, Supt Obrako Bempah, who led the team to Togo.
