A well-known female surfer claims a fellow board rider held her underwater in a 'surf rage' attack. Former professional surfer, Jodie Cooper was allegedly held under the water by surfer Mark 'Carcass' Thomson on the New South Wales' north coast. Former professional surfer, Jodie Cooper (pictured left), claims she was held underwater by fellow surfer Mark 'Carcass' Thomson (pictured right)Ms Cooper claims she only survived because she went limp and pretended to be unconscious. 'We will allege that he held this female underwater to the point that she thought she was going to drown,' he said. It is alleged the professional female surfer and Mr Thomson collided while surfing the wave.
