The individual acts of self-incrimination are too numerous to count and, unhappily, too idiotic to easily clear from the mind. They created the possibility of Trump’s conviction in the Senate and a prohibition on his ever again holding public office. Their actions, and Trump’s support for them, resulted in his banishment from the social media on which he relies and his shunning by corporate America. Loading... Loading... Loading... Loading... Loading... Loading...And if the insurrectionists have helped the incoming executive look blessedly calm and capable, what will dismay them most is how their actions made their arch-villain Nancy Pelosi – literally a physical target of their attack – seem a model of duty, discipline and decency. Still, the adherents of Trump Nation – although their actions have turned Washington, D.C., into an armed camp and robbed Biden of the usual high ceremonies of inauguration – have given the incoming president and his administration a rare gift.
