Previously, the National Institute of Health (NIH) in Islamabad was the only facility performing coronavirus tests but now other provinces too have government and private hospitals doing the same. Agha Khan Laboratories, Chughtai Lab, National Hospital and many other private labs and hospitals are conducting coronavirus tests in Punjab. Similarly, a representative of Chughtai Lab said, “We are also performing coronavirus tests and for 7,900 rupees. The lab generates the report within 24 hours.”A representative of National Hospital, DHA, Lahore, said that they are also conducting coronavirus tests for Rs7,900. On the other hand, Shaukat Khanam Labs, Alnoor Diagnostic Centre and many others have not started conducting coronavirus tests.
