A prisoner at Mt Eden Corrections facility set off a fire in his cell late on Friday night, causing the rest of his unit to be evacuated. A spokesperson from the Department of Corrections confirmed a prisoner had “tampered with an electrical socket,” causing the fire and heavy smoke.
