Sad news from Iowa:www.huffpost.com/…I don’t have much to add to this story from a news perspective, so this diary is short. Many are saying that Dan Marburger is a hero, as he put himself directly into harm’s way in an attempt to stop or limit the violence. But I also find it striking that his cause of death is the same as that which ended the lives of many of our soldiers in military combat, and who we also call heros. People in war zones and people in schools should not both be facing the risk of death by gunshot wound. But until we have a politically impotent GOP and a sane SCOTUS, it’s hard to imagine this situation improving.
