Frances Shand Kydd walked out on her family for wallpaper heir Peter Shand Kydd after 15 years of marriage to Johnnie Spencer, the 8th Earl Spencer. She told her young daughter she'd "come back to see her" but never returned, Diana's younger brother Charles told today’s Sunday Times.
