Prince Philip has been moved back to a private hospital to recuperate from a heart operation at a specialist cardiac unit, Buckingham Palace has revealed. The Duke of Edinburgh, 99, was transferred from the St Bartholomew's Hospital back to King Edward VII's Hospital in central London on Friday morning (UK time). It comes after Philip underwent a "successful" heart operation at St Barts. Philip had a stent operation on his heart in 2011 but the Palace has not commented on what type of surgery he had this time. Last week, Prince Edward said he had spoken to his father on the phone and he was "looking forward to getting out".
