The Duke of Edinburgh’s Land Rover overturned in the collision near the Sandringham Estate. Prince Philip, 97, was driving his car away from the Sandringham Estate shortly before 3pm when his car collided with another at a junction on the A149, also known as Queen Elizabeth Way. Two women in the other car were taken to hospital but later discharged. The accident happened shortly after Philip joined the main road from the junction with the B1439. A Buckingham Palace spokeswoman said that he was the driver and he was unhurt but saw a doctor as a precaution.
