Owusu netted 17 goals across all competitions for Montreal, becoming only the fifth player in the club's history to score 15 or more goals in a season. “Extending my contract with CF Montréal is a source of pride, and I’m grateful to the club’s Sporting staff for its trust. He also featured for the Black Stars in the game against South Korea.
