Prince Harry's memoirs, 'Spare', set Guinness Record for Nonfiction book


According to Guinness World Records, 'Spare' became the fastest selling non-fiction book of all time. The book, which contains startling revelations about the British royal family, sold 1.43 million copies on its first day on sale, setting a new record. It surpassed former President Obama's memoirsThe previous record for the non-fiction book that sold the most copies on the day of its release was former President Barack Obama's 'A Promised Land'. This memoir was published in 2020 and on the day it went on sale it sold 887,000 copies, according to Guinness figures. At the moment, the publisher Penguin Random House, in charge of publishing 'Spare', reported that the book is already in its second edition, after a first print run of two million copies.
