Progressive Conservative Leader James Aylward is resigning, less than a year after he was elected party leader. Aylward said he will continue to lead the party until a successor is chosen. The Charlottetown native was elected to represent the district of Stratford-Kinlock in the 2011 and 2015 elections, and was elected party leader last October.
